Teavana, a chain of American tea stores with shops in the San Jose area, has recently recalled their organic peppermint herbal tea.  It has come to their attention that a new batch of this tea may be contaminated with salmonella bacteria.  The problem came to light during routine quality control testing of samples from each batch of tea, and the company along with their peppermint tea vendor, RemedyTeas, is investigating the source of the contamination.  The company website currently has an error page in place of the product page for this tea.
